Tuesday, August 18th

  • 5:30p - Arrival to Retreat House + Check-in (see address in “Locations” below)

  • 6:30p - Dinner

  • 7:30p - Session 1: with Chandler Corzine

  • 9:00p - Enjoy dessert, pool, jacuzzi, and more!

Wednesday, August 19th

  • 7:30a - Breakfast + Coffee (Poema Coffee) Cart (starting at 7:30am)

  • 9:00a - Session 2: with Pastor Jason & Corri Graves

  • 10:00-10:30a - Break

  • 10:30a-12:00p - Session 3: with Pastor Jason & Corri Graves

  • 12:00-1:00p - Lunch

  • 1:00-5:00p - Free time

  • 5:00p - Dinner

  • 6:30p - Session 3: with Ben Graves

  • 9:00p - Enjoy dessert, pool, jacuzzi, and more!

Thursday, August 20th

  • 8:00am - Breakfast

  • 9:00am - Clean-up

  • 10:00am - Check-out

Things To-Note

  • Weather: Warm + mostly sunny, with an afternoon high near 84-88°F and an overnight low dropping to around 62°-65°F.

  • What to Pack:

    • Personal pillow.

    • Beach towel for the lake (regular bath towels are provided, along with bed linens).

    • Bathing suit (for pool + jacuzzi). Please adhere to bathing suit standards provided in the DLC Handbook.

    • Sunscreen, if you plan to be out in the sun.

    • Summer clothes for day and warmer for evenings (see weather above and schedule below)

    • Journal to take notes and do your devotions with.

  • Drive Up:

    • Carpool. We have limited driveway space (see sign-up). Please ride up in larger groups.

    • Give yourself 1 hour to arrive by 5:30pm to check-in for the 1st night (use the destination for your Student House address above in your map app). Dinner will be served at the Retreat House at 6:30pm (you must check in prior to dinner).

  • Honoring One Another + Our Commitments:

    • Volume - Though our retreat location is located on large acreage, late night volume will be monitored to respect neighboring homes + remain in good standing with our venue ownership.

    • Gender Lodging - In accordance with the DLC Handbook, opposite genders are not to cross the threshold of gender-specific lodging at the retreat (houses + rooms). Violation of this policy will result in being dismissed from the Retreat.

    • Gambling - With a small percentage of the Retreat lodging being facilitated in hotel rooms at the nearby Harrah’s Resort (with a casino), students are not to engage in any form gambling, in accordance with the DLC Handbook.
